Welcome to Gorentz ("we", "our", or "us"). This document outlines our standard operating procedures and legal frameworks regarding self-drive vehicle hire across the state of Goa.

1. Self-Drive Eligibility & Identification

The renter must be at least 21 years of age and possess an active and valid driving licence for light motor vehicles (LMV) for at least one year. Submitting valid government-issued photo identification (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID) is mandatory prior to taking custody of the vehicle.

2. Permitted Usage & Geographical Limits

Our vehicles are permitted for travel strictly within the geographical boundaries of the state of Goa unless prior written approval and outstation documentation are confirmed by Gorentz management.

3. Security Deposit & Refunds

A refundable security deposit is collected upon vehicle handover. This deposit covers minor damages, traffic challans incurred during the rental tenure, or fuel discrepancies. Deductions, if any, will be itemized and explained with photographic evidence. The balance is refunded upon return.

4. Prohibited Activities

Driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, off-roading on protected public beaches, vehicle racing, and subleasing to unauthorized third parties are strictly prohibited by law and cause immediate termination of the rental agreement without refund.
